Liberty Terrace Senators of the University at Albany Student Association advocate for the resident students of Liberty Terrace, a living community for juniors, seniors, and graduate students that combines eco-friendly living with modern amenities. As the first LEED Gold-certified residential area on campus, they represent a constituency that values sustainability and innovation. The senators work with Housing Managers to address the needs of over 500 residents, promoting the use of the complex's green features, like geothermal heating, energy-efficient fittings, and natural lighting, to enhance the quality of life and environmental stewardship at the university.
